a stone

Luckily only one part of this two parter song about running is based on personal experience (but I'm not saying which one).

Just a bit - down the road
Inadvertently picked up a stone
With a nib - maybe two
It found home as it flipped in my shoe

Been getting maimed, maimed, maimed
Didn't bring a band aid kit
It's pain, pain, pain
Heel skin I now miss a bit
'Tis full stride bane
I'm not gonna run for days now

It's not funny - when I'm off the track
As stoner - cos I didn't knew jack
When it carved through skin and socks
And adhesives was left back home
I'm bleeding from a stone

Bleeding from a stone

So I limped - back at home
When a mongrel took aim at my jewels
A small dog - that noone had groomed
And the mutt got away with it too

Been getting maimed, maimed, maimed
Didn't bring a band aid kit
It's pain, pain, pain
Foreskin I now miss and bits
It's full thrust bane
I move as smooth as doggystyled cows

It's not funny - when chihuawas attack
I feel small - and the rest's a dogsnack
Cos it bit through skin and jock
And my raising form left my bone(s)
I'm bleeding from a stone

(Repeat various loose parts
down the song's final stretch)
