I will kick the
bucket unless the
pouring ends

A MUSIC PARODY
BASED ON:
"WAKE ME UP WHEN
SEPTEMBER ENDS"
BY: GREEN DAY

BONUS QUOTE:
"Isn't it interesting that the same people who laugh at science fiction listen to weather forecasts and economists?"
KELVIN THROOP III

Everybody talks about the weather but nobody is really singing or dancing in the rain when the oceans and the seas are coming together over the land and under the H2O of the skies, not until now that is, because here's a little waterproof ditty about where the sun don't shine (anymore).

Pacing note: In the original song they use foggy rhymes like pass/fast and rests/lost, hence I only follow (in wet) suit in the droplet places where I do the same or similar things to stay afloat. All hail artistic licence!

Showers, they will not pass
My whole vacation's draining fast
Wake me up when the raining ends

Lights and thunder, then rehashed
Seems the climate warming's splashed
Wake me up when the raining ends

Heaven's an open vein, five weeks down so far
All Scandinavian good plumbers wealthy are

In sub-Atlante'n zest
I'm undermerged and water-stressed
Wake me up when the raining ends

(AND NOW IT STARTS OVER AGAIN)

Soaking wet is my ass
The monsoon scent's increasing fast
Wake me up when the climate warms

Weight' down by hails and then
Leeway beached by a hurricane
Wake me up when the climate warms

Web-toed Gods are in reign, fisting us sub-par
All Scandinavia's drowning - Au Revoir!

In a thunderstorm lost
With cats and dogs approaching frost
Wake me up when the climate warms

(AND YET AGAIN IT STARTS OVER)

Soggy days merge en masse
There' cellulites on every ass
Wake me up when the soaking ends

Landlocked in the mountains, high
Waterlogged I'm swamping, I'll
Kick the buck't 'less the pouring ends
Kick the buck't 'less the pouring ends
Kick the buck't 'less the pouring ends
