I don't have kids myself but my siblings do, little monsters, all of them...

There's a big bird in the hallway
A cow floats in the pool
A full-armed Rambo or GI Joe
Can't keep them cool

And there's some Heinz sauce on the TV
A silence full of noise
A big fat smile when they're cray'ing the wall
They're busy boys

They are kids
Full of skids
Smells like tar
Where's the bar?

And their folks' afar
