Bacon Flu (fills the other side)

A MUSIC PARODY
BASED ON:
"BREAK ON THROUGH
(TO THE OTHER SIDE)"
BY: THE DOORS

BONUS QUOTE:
"Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon."
SUSAN ERTZ

The last big flu pandemic was back in the 60s so I figured I would open the door(s) to some music from that era and update its lyrics with a play along take on the current worldwide swine flu scare, grim hype or not. It's not really meant to be funny (in the normal way) but the new title paced so well that I wanted to go ahead in that vein and countervibe the whole psychedelic take-drugs-live-forever mumbo-jumbo of the original.

You know this flu will kill all life
Nationwide we'll die
None can run
None can hide
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu fills the other side

We face this tabloid scare
The Hog Erasure's here
An' we're against the wall
This time we'll die
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu fills the other side

Every beaker can be deadly
Every beaker can be deadly
Say bye-bye
Say bye-bye
Say bye-bye
Say bye-bye

They'll stick a needle in your arm
Virus in your veins
Vaccinate
But you'll die
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu

Medicine
Weak, it's weak
Die, we'll die
Hour by hour
Our fate awaits
And worldwide
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu fills the other side
Bacon Flu
Bacon Flu
Bacon Flu
Bacon Flu
