AC/DC is drawing close to fifty years of doing the same old tricks since their first show. In comparison Bart Simpson is still a youngster with a mere thirty since the first episode of The Simpsons. Here's a parody based on the formers brand new single.
The original song and a video for it can be heard/seen HERE.

He's getting written up, the kid is quite a schmuck
He don't get on with school
The grievances compiled, on Homer's oldest scion
Gets him detention, that's a weekly joke

He's got the chalk board coming
And some penal writing
It has become tradition
The price of transgression

Detention for Bart - for a playground fight
Detention for Bart - and being impolite
Detention for Bart - for his pranks ad hoc
Detention for Bart - and his caustic remarks

It's a television show, running up the thirties now
Still we doesn't seem to tire
It's Lisa, Maggie, Marge an' Homer
They're making up the Simpsons
But the Bart kid's blight

He's got a sentence coming
It's repentance writing
He's up for remission
Assumes the position

Detention for Bart - for the dynamite
Detention for Bart - to the school bus at night
Detention for Bart - for his pranks an' crock
Detention for Bart - he's the worst of the flock

His mischief is beyond cognition!

Detention for Bart - is a common sight
Detention for Bart - much to Lisa's delight
Detention for Bart - till forever o'clock
Detention for Bart - or he runs out of chalk

Detention for Bart - detention for Bart
Detention for Bart - detention for Bart
Detention for Bart - hear the teachers bark
Detention for Bart - it's a running joke lark
