Don't come here with Covid, keep distance - do you mind?

A MUSIC PARODY
BASED ON:
"DON'T COME HOME A DRINKIN' (WITH LOVIN' ON YOUR MIND)"
BY: JAMIE O'NEAL

BONUS QUOTE:
"A lot of these people who keep a gun at home for safety are the same ones who refuse to wear a seat belt."
GEORGE CARLIN

I literally ran across this idea when the song came on my running playlist (good for 166 steps per minute) out in the boonies. Could have gone back to Loretta Lynn's original version since Jamie's a cover, but I liked working with this one.

We should all be holing up forever and a night
We're best off to play it safe if the gubment docs are right
I've liquor and guns and dirty pics and some wattles to stay behind
So don't come here with Covid, keep distance - do you mind?

No, I don't need that Covid, keep distance - do you mind?
Just turn around, back to town, to the quarantine assigned
Cos I just took my Chloroquine, and YOU live on borrowed time
I wash my hands in moonshine, and buzzin' all the time!

And I'm never gettin' out of here until Covid is gone
Single outback I will make do with sheep love off and on
That's behind a curtain or three and double roller blinds
So don't come here a-peepin', keep distance - do you mind?

No, I don't need you town peeps, keep distance - do you mind?
Just leave the shoes, run for town, and show me your behinds
And if you try some dirty tricks, I'll feed you to the swine
Might keep your bae for porking, if she's at least a... three

And don't come back a-beggin' for TP - will you mind?
Just turn around, arse from town, to the shortage you're confined
But if you got some banjo strings, well I might trade leafs in kind
But don't come back with Covid, keep distance - do you mind?

Yeah, don't come back with Covid, keep distance - do you mind?
