How can they
forget Trump
when he's always
on their minds

BONUS QUOTE:
"The object of life is not to be
on the side of the majority,
but to escape from finding
oneself in the ranks
of the insane."

Someone being way too obsessed with an ex is someone still too disturbed for healing to begin, and judging from current political events that disturbing phenomena isn't limited to romance. Build Back Better!

No deflation now Joe Biden's sworn in POTUS fourtysix
They huff and puff like nothing's changed in pundit politics
I see the same online, why aren't they on cloud nine
I see them wring the same ol' all the time

They're on about Trump every day, with every second breath
They have a codependency that's like abstinence from meth
Trump left for Mar-a-La-go, from the swamp to go unwind
But how can they forget him when he's always on their minds

Biden's in the White House now and the alt-right's disavowed
We're back to old North Korean threats about West Coast
mushroom clouds
There are dealings in the back rooms, but Bernie's left out
with his mitts
They've tightened checks and narrowed doors but Hillary still fits

They scream about Trump's USA, like something from the depths
They'll house a rabid fervor with impechment till his death
Trump left for Mar-a-La-go where with golf he will unwind
But how can they forget him when their thoughs are in a bind

They shout about Trump every way, with every other breath
Their fists are raised in unison to the impechment shibboleth
Trump left for Mar-a-La-go, and the swamp he left behind
But how can they forget him with derangement croaking minds

Trump left for Mar-a-La-go, but the Goody Shoes still whine
How can they get past him when he's always on their minds

How can they forget him when from now
He's not there
He's not there
