Woke up with my teddy-bear

A MUSIC PARODY
BASED ON:
"STILL NOT DEAD"
BY: WILLIE NELSON

BONUS QUOTE:
"Human beings are kind of interesting from birth until they reach the age of a year and a half. Then they are boring until they reach fifty. By that time they're either completely defeated and fucked up, which makes them interesting again, or they've learned how to beat the game, and that makes them interesting, too."

If you think this song portrays me as middle age crazy, nota bene that the key line is "I'm not the one with Prozac on the stand" :-)

I woke up with my teddy-bear today
It's been here with me nineteen thousand days
When I sleep I fear it'll go away
But I woke up with my teddy-bear today

Well, I went out with my teddy-bear today
My neighbours say it's time I act my age
They always do 'cos haters gonna hate
But I'll hold on to my teddy-bear and pray

At my age of fiftytwo
Cuddly toys are a taboo
Should grow a beard, become a baseball fan
But I've never been amused
Of monster trucks or lifting weights
And I'll pass on such until I pass away

I sleep in with my teddy everyday
The grapevine has a lot on that to say
My mama noted marbles fell away
But I'll never leave my cuddly toy - no way

I will hold on to my bear
Let the haters point and stare
I'm not the one with Prozac on the stand
And by now they should be used
It's with me everywhere I go
And I wouldn't have it any other way

Last night I had my blow-up doll explode on me - ay way!
But teddy's here for me in every way
